An indoor storm

The Butterfly House/Zoo trip was a no go today. I wish I could say it was because of the weather, but Mason's temper tantrum was the real storm around here. Sean and I felt we couldn't take our family field trip after Mason's outburst, but I really wanted to go. Sometimes it stinks having to make choices like that, especially when the day is ruined for everyone, and you know he really is sorry about it. After he cooled off, we went through our list of rainy-day stand-bys: coloring, blocks, books and trains.
Mimi and Suepy came for a visit this afternoon, bringing a wonderful dinner. They stayed through our last T-ball game and played with Ash while Mason got two hits, one a home run. The kids were so hot and sweaty, and more than one was a little cranky. Speaking of cranky- Ash has taken up where Mason left off this morning, throwing a full blown fit as I type If I was closer to three than thirty I might feel a tantrum brewing myself- It's one of those kinda days.
