We just finished our third (and last) day of phase-in. Ashton wore underpants the whole time he was in class, I was so proud of him. We left, and he waited until we were upstairs on our way out of the school building to pee on the floor. His teacher is encouraging us to send him in underpants everyday, so we will be buying many more packages of underpants. After his morning was over we had almost two hours to kill before Mason would be done, so we hit Island Park. We had a great time, I just let him lead the show and direct me to wherever he wanted to be. We spent a good amount of time stuffing fall leaves down holes in the park equipment and removing sticks from his shoes. I really enjoyed playing with one boy at the park, it's so nice to be able to give him my complete attention. I couldn't find anyone to hang out with Mason while Ash went to the last day of toddler phase-in, so tomorrow we are just staying home. Seasoned pro that he is, I'm sure Ash will be just fine without the last day.
Yesterday the boys and I had a pillow fight, and we had so much fun. I don't think I've ever pillow-fought so long before. Ashton really got into it- yelling "BOOF"every time his pillow made contact. We were all exhausted and giggly when we finished.
Tomorrow Mason and I are having a date, some one-on-one mom and son time over a nice meal at Evans Street. Sean told Mason that the man has to order for the lady, and he thinks that's just hilarious, that he gets to pick Mommy's meal!
Hopefully next week we will be more used to the new fall schedule- I need some routine!

i think it's great that you're instilling such oppresively patriachal values on your son at such an early age! ;) Just kidding, sounds like a blast!!
