Ready for the feast

We are ready for Thanksgiving! It's easy-breezy this year, all we have to do is show up- and only on one side of the family! I picked two dishes to bring that are quick and painless, plus a possible pecan pie. Mason made "hand-turkeys" today at school, and his teacher told me what a "wonderful hand-turkey maker Mason is" (really?). Ashton brought his favorite book to school, the "boom-boom" book, or Chicka Chicka Boom Boom to those outside the loop.

Mason got a birthday present in the mail today from God mom Aly, and has officially stretched his birthday out as long as possible. It's a snow globe shaped like a cute little snowman, and he lights up, changes colors and makes winter wind noises. Mason has cast off his ikea nightlight in favor of the snowman, and said "Ashton can have my night light now" -- now that I have something newer and cooler, that is.

What a crappy Sunday! No new secrets at Post Secret, no Housewives, blah!
