Ashton got to spend another day with Mom and Dad all to himself this Saturday, while Mason had a sleepover with Mimi and PJ. We took Ash to My Urban Toddler in Saline, which is great for his age but too young for Mason. He spent most of his time in the kitchen and market sections, cooking and shopping. We had a nice (peaceful) dinner at the Brecon Grill, and then opened one of Ashton's Christmas gifts that he hadn't played with yet and spent the evening engrossed in that.
Today Mason brought all of us a piece of naan home from the Indian restaurant that he ate in with Meems. He and Ashton are behaving like they haven't seen each other in weeks, which is nice. They have been building pillow and blanket forts and playing with marbles all afternoon. Ashton decided he needed to put on some "spray" when he saw me put on perfume, and I compromised by giving him some daubs of Sean's cologne. He walked around the house saying "my mell a man" meaning, I smell like a man. Better than most, bud!
