Fresh Air

The boys and I made the most of the warm temperatures yesterday. We went for a walk, and Mason insisted on getting his scooter out while I pushed Ashton on his bike. We followed footprints and mysterious clues around the neighborhood, and then built snowmen on our front lawn. We have two snow-people hugging each other right by the side walk, and Mason used the third as a battle-enemy, and destroyed him with his sword (dragonfly shovel). I was so happy to spend some time outside, it was wonderful to feel the sun again and play in the snow without getting frozen fingers. We had a great start to our school week yesterday, most of the kids are trickling back in after recovering from various bugs, and the boys were happy, happy. Hopefully the rest of the week follows suit, we plan on being outside again today and tomorrow- until it snows!
There is talk of little else here than the Kalahari, for Mason the trip cannot come soon enough. Uncle Rome is on board, as are all the aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents on the Edison side. Hopefully we will make the trip in a new vehicle, and I won't have to be sandwiched in between the boys in the backseat. Keep your fingers crossed for us!
