I tried to spy on Ashton in the gym today and take some pictures of him playing with his buddies. I realized that I am not very sneaky, and that the school needs to clean their windows. Ash saw me after I took his picture pretending to be a shark, and then I gave up and joined him in the gym.
After school we had lunch with Amber at the Coffee Exchange, and the boys were great. Mason kept taking pictures of her "really big belly" with the camera he got for Christmas. Ashton used the bathroom twice while we were there without being prompted. I was so proud, and relieved because I was worried he would have an accident as soon as we got there.
When we got home the boys put on their matching rain/cowboy boots and jackets and went OUTSIDE!!!! to play. I don't want to imagine the amount of dog poop they probably stepped in, I don't care, I'm just happy they got to play in their backyard again.
We did lots of snuggling after dinner, Mason got a new magazine in the mail that both boys loved. I started reading Homer Price to Mason for his bedtime story, and he was so excited by the first chapter that he kept sitting up and smacking his head on the top bunk while I was reading. That's what I call a good story!
