Privacy?

I had a moment of clarity this morning- I will never again take an uninterrupted shower. At least, not in the next 5 or 6 years. Mason is in the habit of "keeping me company" while I shower, which wouldn't be so bad except that he rapid-fires questions at me that are barely audible over the water. I have to yell "Huh? What bud? Can't hear you..." or just stick my face from behind the curtain to hear clearly. As soon as Ash wakes up he joins the party, and then Sean makes his way in to try to round them up and out. No warm air is left in the bathroom by the end of this parade, and so my showers tend to be fast and furious. If the lock on my bathroom door was working I might be tempted to just lock them all out for 15 minutes.

Mason has been going through a growth spurt lately- he is eating as much as Sean and I PUT TOGETHER, plus some. He eats snack after snack after snack until I think he is going to make himself sick, and those are after full meals with two or more servings. He has also been taking marathon naps, from 1-4 in the afternoon. Bedtime is the same as always, which means this kid is sleeping almost 15 hours per day. I'm glad summer is on the way, because all of his pants will be too short before long!
