Butterball

We have had a couple of foggy days here- bad sleep, cranky boys, and short tempers all around. Hopefully today will be the beginning of a turnaround.
Blake's appointment with Dr. Benzing was good, the little snacker has gained 5 pounds (!) already. He was wide-eyed and content for the whole examination, and showed off his adorable coos as well as his impressive ability to hold up his head and look around. Basically I paid an office-visit co-pay to have my parental ego inflated.
Today the boys are going out to the pool with Sean while I take Blake to visit his uncle Jerome and g-friend Jamie. I'm excited to see them, they haven't seen Blake since the day he was born.
Tomorrow we are spending the day at Merry Lake with the family, and we are all excited. We're going to pack up the boys and some goodies to share and, after collecting our farm share, hit the road.
Sunday is the midwives picnic- good food, a park, and lots of little babies. What could be better???
