Happy Half-birthday, little one. Blake is six months old today, and becoming more fun all the time. Last night we took the boys to see the Heritage park lights, and Blake was mesmerized by the display. Ashton was really excited as well, yelling: "they're so pretty, so boo-ful, the lights, the lights" all throughout the trip. The great thing about a three-year old is that he was just as excited to see the lights on houses on our way home.
The boys contributed to the food-drive at their school today, placing cans of vegetables in the box outside their classroom. Mason spotted a box of jell-o and was incensed, saying (loudly) "why would someone give needy families junk food?" I had to convince him to put the jell-o back, and hope that the donator of the offending food was not within earshot.
We only have a few things left to do before Santa comes, make cookies and pick out a nice big bone for Abby. I'm saving the cookies for last so their will be some left come Christmas.
