Three cheers for bowling

We had so much fun bowling this morning. It was our first time at Lenawee Rec Center, and it was a pretty nice place, as bowling alleys go. I was surprised at how much Ashton enjoyed himself. He was so funny to watch, so excited every time it was his turn (he also kicked butt with a score of 98!). Mason decided he needed to get a running start when he bowled- I can't believe the floors hold up so well. I took the boys out to eat after at the Coffee Exchange, and then they BOTH napped- hallelujah. We ran 500 errands in the afternoon, and then tried to clean up and pack when we got home.

Mason was so responsible today; he packed his own backpack for Saugatuck, he swept the kitchen floor and dusted (without being asked!!!), and he transfered the clean clothes into the dryer for me. He also played wonderfully with Ash, showing him how to "take it to the hole" and how to jump on a pile of stuffed animals from the bed (we had to cut that game short). Ashton was belly laughing he was having so much fun.

We opened the Battleship game I have been saving for a rainy or boring day and I showed Mase how to play. I think we will let him stay up later than Ashton this weekend and play a few games with us. Sometimes I think Mason has a split personality- yesterday compared to today seem like two different kids.
