Mason's school picture- tell me he doesn't look like his mom!
Yup, we're staying home today. And tomorrow. It was woooonderful to wake up this morning and not have to brush, dress, eat, gather supplies and go! Ashton granted us a reprieve last night and stayed in his bed until 4:30. I was almost happy to let him crawl into bed because it wasn't 1:00. He slept pretty well once he joined us, so we all started the day off in a good way- which was doubly nice considering the way we ended yesterday.
Ashton had an accident, and almost had stitches. He fell off the couch backwards and conked his head open on the coffee table. I have to admit that I lost my cool for a brief second (or two) when I saw all of the blood. The funny thing is that he wasn't goofing around or being crazy; he just slipped off. The cut seemed deep, but small, and once the bleeding stopped we smeared it with vitamin E and butterfly bandaged it. Poor little guy.
Back to my morning of cartoons and jammies, if you are at work reading this- ha ha!
