...and all is right with the world again

The boys returned to school today! After two days at home due to "ice" I have been ready to tear out my hair. Day one we ran local errands and played at the library, but by day two I just wanted to clean my house and go to the gym. The boys were less enthusiastic than I was, especially Ash, because he hasn't been in school for over two weeks. He hurried into the classroom after he caught sight of the new work: a miniature Christmas tree with a basket full of decorations. I'm sure he spent the majority of his day decorating and re-decorating.
We finally got Ashy's school pictures, and his smile is great. Whoever took him to get them taken combed his hair, and if you know Ash, you know that's just not him. It's a little disconcerting, looking at my baby's smile with this perfectly-styled coif above it, almost like he has on a wig.
I have a date! My boys are taking me to see the Bee Movie for my birthday. I'm such a lucky mom. I'll let you know how it is.
