Proud Aunt, proud (but exhausted) Papa
Amber had her baby!!! There isn't much going on here that can trump that news. Donovan Lavell Lilly is 9lbs., 2 ounces, and 21 inches long. He also has almost more hair than my kids did when they were a year old. He is my sweetheart, and I can't wait to get back to the hospital to see him. The boys have been excited, but it will be some time before I let them visit- they seem gargantuan next to Donovan, even if he is a 9 pounder.
We have had a busy week; dentist appointments for both boys and a play date with Jack today. The appointments were great- we went to see Dr. Doman for the first time and he remarked how "well trained" the boys are at getting their teeth cleaned. It was a new experience for me, because the boys both went in on their own (I didn't get to watch!). Mason was just geeked because the hygienist let him watch Wa-wa-wubsy while he sat in the chair. We went to Kelly Inflatables to meet Jack and Lia, and ate our lunch there. We had the place to ourselves for the whole play date, it was a great deal for $4.00!
