Yesterday was a busy-bee day for us; we went to the community center to sign up for soccer. Both boys are all set for the spring season, I can't wait to see Ash running around on the soccer field with little shin guards on. Mason's spring season will be his first with real games, he is already hoping for a goalie position. After the community center we spent time at the library- actually more time than we have ever spent there in one afternoon. We found great books, did all of the puzzles and colored away. Heather and Ellie and Shelby met us over there, and I got to snuggle Shelby for a little while. It was fun to see Mason's reaction to her. He came over to me while Shelby was nestled in my lap and sort of rubbed her little arms, and gently poked her cheek at the chubbiest part, then lost interest and wandered off again. "Hey there-a, Shelby baby, whatcha up to?" is how he addressed her. Ashton just said "That your baby?" and was satisfied when I reassured him that it was not.
Tomorrow is daddy's birthday, and the boys and I have big plans to wake him up with a celebration- noise makers, to be exact. What better way to wake up on your birthday? Sleeping in is overrated. Mason is excited to stay over at Brianna's house tomorrow, and Ash is too, although he doesn't understand that we won't be with him yet.

dear mason,
goalie is the best position because you don't have to run as much! :)
