Spring Break in full swing

Whew! What a busy start to our "Spring Break"! We had Easter dinner at Uncle Tony's on Saturday, and had such a nice time that we were shocked to discover bedtime had arrived. Mason spent most of the evening playing babies with Brianna, and I loved watching him- he was so gentle and loving! He had a great time dressing his baby and carrying him around the house in a car seat, and preparing him for a trip into the Arctic. The baby was a boy, (Mason assumed) even though dressed in pink and very feminine looking. He told me later that playing with babies was fun because they don't cry like real babies do, and he can't wait to dress his baby again.

Today we did little bits of housework all morning, punctuated by snacks and naps. Mason and I got to go to Madeline's birthday party at Moonwalk Adventures while Ash stayed home with Sean and practiced his version of baseball. Mason had a great time at the birthday party, he quickly found some bigger boys to chase and ran himself silly. He was a tired, tired boy this evening, and so worked up from cake and excitement that he had a hard time settling down for bed.

Tomorrow we get to see Jack and Lia, although where we'll go we don't know. Domino's Petting farm seems unlikely because of the expected rain, and the Willis B. Boyer Ship Museum that was our second choice is not yet open for the season. I considered the zoo, sticking to the inside exhibits, but wouldn't you know I lost my wallet (money, credit cards, identification, etc.,) and so I don't have my membership card. We'll think of something, because no one wants to sit and watch the rain all day.
