Ashton had his last tot soccer last night, and it was the most entertaining one yet. The kids played all of the usual games, and then had a scrimmage with the green team. I wish I had taped the scrimmage, it was a shoe-in to be a funniest home videos prize winner. There were kids with no shoes, kids picking up the ball and running with it down the field, sometimes two goalies, sometimes no goalies, and lots of parents out on the field "helping". Ash ran around for a little while and then decided it was more fun to sit with us and watch the hoopla (I'd have to agree). No one was keeping score of course, and the only person who was upset when the green team managed to get one in the goal was Mason. He just couldn't understand that the three-year-olds didn't know or care that they had been scored on. He was all ready to be Ashy's cheering section, so when Ash sat out Mason was a little pouty. We got the boys baby cones after the game to celebrate, orange for Ash because he was on the orange team. Ashton took his team photo to school to show it to all of his friends today, and he's already talking about "my fall soccer" so I guess he wants to play again!
