He's got skills

What a perfect morning

So, what's your number?? Can I get you a drink of water?

Skills & Drills day was today, bright and early on the still-wet grass of Cal-Zorn Park. It felt like a real fall day, cool and breezy but with a strong, warm sun. One of the days that it feels just right to be on a soccer field. The boys played soccer this morning, and we all tried to play a little catch-up on our rest this afternoon. Getting back in into our school routine has worn us out.
We got a lot of goodies in our farm share this week, and I've already made a bread salad (panzanella) and started some baba ghanoush for later. Melons are starting to be part of the share each week, which the boys especially love, and we were able to swap out our time-intensive edamame for some nice looking onions. The boys are glad to be watching football and spending time with Sean today, they have missed him with his new schedule and theirs.
