The Only

Yesterday the boys were back in school, and we were all happy about it. Especially me, because I didn't have to drive them there. Blake and I got dressed and took a nice walk around the 'hood. He was nice and snuggly in his Michigan gear; hoodie and hat. We had our first playgroup, and although Blake couldn't really interact with the older children, he did seem to enjoy watching them move around him. School went really well again yesterday, Ash is a peach when I pick him up, partly because he has had a nap (which I can no longer manage at home) and partly because he wants a snack. Miss Valerie, Mason's Kindergarten teacher, sent a note home for us in his lunchbox letting us know how well he is doing. She has won all of us over in record time. We colored some fall pictures when we got home and decorated the house with them, and the boys were better than they have been in days.

Today we are all home again, knock on wood!
