The past few days have been so gorgeous we have been fooled into thinking that cold is not right around the corner. The afternoons are hot, and the boys and I have been taking advantage of the nice weather every opportunity we get. Today we stayed after school to watch Mason's classmates soccer game, and Blake, Ash and I played on the playground while Mason critiqued the coaching from the sidelines. Blake had his first trip down the slide, but he didn't seem to notice, he just kept gnawing on his fist the whole way down. Ash requested underdog after underdog on the swings, and I was more worn out than they by the time we left.
This morning when the boys went to school Blake and I went to T-town and visited PJ and Poppo. It was his first time at the Trust Co., (but no Mimi, as she is in Ecuador) and his first time meeting his great-grandfather. It was nice to have an outing with just Blakers, he really seemed to enjoy the morning and all of the attention. Especially at the nursing home, nothing is more attractive to the residents than a baby, it took us a long time get back to the car!
