Whew! We had quite a Christmas with the Edison side of the family yesterday. Great food, flying wrapping paper, and some very happy kids. It always takes me a while to get used to the "opening frenzy"; on my side we go one at a time so everyone can see what everyone else got. We might still be there if we had done that though, because there were a lot of gifts this year. This morning the boys are taking turns being Optimus Prime, and I put together the tool bench (impatiently). I was so proud that I did it all by myself! The boys love the tool bench, and the box it came in, which is classic! Watching Brianna sing in her new microphone and play her barbie guitar was one of the highlights of the day, and she was accompanied by Hanna and her ipod keyboard. It was not a quiet Christmas, that's for sure.
