It's really good on gas.... and once I get it all shampooed and cleaned out you won't even know there were kids living in it. We finally got the new car, (it feels like a BUS to me right now!) and I am afraid to let the kids ride in it. I am working on taking apart and scrubbing the carseats before they are deemed new-car ready, I'm not sure how long it will take before the kids are deemed the same. I am feeling major guilt due to being kicked out of the Hybrid-drivers club that is my family. I have now returned to the wicked ways of the majority of the country. I need to sell the Escape quickly to assuage some of the guilty feelings. I will feel better if someone is driving it, even if it's not me.
I am home alone this morning- Sean took the boys to school and I had to cancel yoga today so he could work : ( It's nice to be in the house alone, so quiet and clean! Mason took his globe to school today to show off to his friends, when you turn off the lights it shows all of the constellations in the sky instead of the map of the world. His class is studying space and rainforests right now- an interesting combination. It seems like the girls are drawn to the rainforest work and the boys are fascinated by all the rockets and planets.
Ash is a little down these days because Miss Peggy is in New York doing teacher evaluations, and misses her. He made up a short song about her to sing when she returns. It goes "Heeeeeeyyyyy Peggy Weggy" and that's it. She'll love it, don't you think?
