...and more soccer

Soccer, soccer, soccer. Yesterday Ash had soccer, tonight Mase has practice and then swim class. Yesterday was the flip side of the coin for us with Ashton's soccer (practice? game? I'm not sure what to call what they do). He was a little ham for the photographer, and ran around like a little tasmanian devil while waiting for all of the team pictures to be taken. He had a great time out on the field this week, and I'm not sure what the difference was. I was worn out, because I ran, dribbled, and played silly squirrel (a soccer game) right along side him. I'm glad no one was taking pictures, because I'm sure I looked hilarious.
After soccer Sean took Ash home for a snack and bedtime, and I took Mason to swimming. I am still a little shook up after swim class, because one of the little boys in Mason's group nearly drowned. He moved too far away from the wall and went under, sputtering and splashing. It took his mom and some of the other parents running down the bleachers and yelling to get the two instructors and one lifeguard to help him. Very, very scary, for the adults and also for the children. Mase and his classmates were wide eyed and very quiet for the rest of the class. Having so many instructors and lifeguards present makes you forget how dangerous the water can be.
