Downward Diggety Dog

Yoga camp began today, and like everything else today it was HOT! Which means that the kids had frequent "hydration breaks" and bathroom trips. Mason seemed a little bored, and Ash and Bren had a tough time focusing, but I think Peyton has fallen in love with yoga. I have my fingers crossed that tomorrow will go more smoothly for the littles, I can't count how many times I said "Bren, back on your mat. no, your mat. Ash, there's nothing to cry about- now show me your Namaste hands!" The "peace plates" art project and "It's Mine" book by Leo Leoni read at story time were the highlights of the camp for all of the kids.
The boys spent about ten minutes riding bikes before we decided to take refuge from the heat in the library. Ashton worked on puzzles, Mason colored pictures and we stayed nice and cool. I feel guilty not having the boys outside more, but at least we got out of the house!
