Doesn't he look huge? Getting to hold Blake made Mason's day, he was so gentle with him.
Sean and I are feeling better after a little more sleep last night. Yesterday Mason went to be spoiled by his Mimi, so Ashton reaped the rewards of being the only big bro in the house. We lavished him with attention, and he ate it up. Today the boys went down to the farmers market to pick up our farmshare and snap up all of the extra swiss chard. They brought back flowers, freshly baked bread and Lev's pretzels. We're going to try and get the house in a semi-clean state before Suepy brings Mason home, but my standards for cleanliness are much, much lower.
Yesterday we gave Blake his first bath. Sean tried to videotape it, but quickly realized the task required two sets of hands. Blake also lost his umbilical cord....but we're not sure where it went.

i love how he is just swimming in that gown. I remember when Pey was first born and she would scrunch her arms and her legs up into the body part of even the teeniest newborn PJs and the empty arms and legs would just flop there.
He is so precious!
