Opposite day

Opposite Day is a game Mason likes to play, usually in an I'm-trying-to annoy-you-kind-of-spirit, like "Shadow". Blake has already shown a mastery of this game, and Sean and I are suffering from a severe lack of sleep due to his version, where he pretends day is night and night is day. He has been knocked out cold since we started getting ready for our day, around 6:00 a.m. The barking dog, sunshine, and running boys that sound like two little elephants tearing through the house do not disturb him. Last night however, at 9:00 p.m., he decided that he was awake, and remained that way until around 4:30 a.m. despite all of our best efforts.
I need sleep!!!!
Thank goodness for good neighbors, or Mason would be crawling the walls. Yesterday he got invited to the Zoo with his buddies Peyton and Brennan, and this is AFTER they picked him up to go to swimming class. There is a slide show on their site. It makes me happy because the whole group seemed to have a great time, and sad that I missed it. Mason told me when he got home that he was angry with Ehrika because she would not let him pay for his own dinner, and "I'm NOT a baby, I KNOW how to do it!!!" We tried to explain that she was treating him, and that it was a nice thing, but he wasn't having it. Whoops! Thank you from us, Ehrika and Chris, if not from him!
