I bought Ash this doll for Christmas, it was the best boy-doll I could find. I would have bought him a girl, but he requested a boy-baby, I think because Blake is a boy. I love watching the boys be loving and fatherly with baby dolls, being a good dad takes practice. I actually wanted to get a cabbage patch doll because I loved mine so much as a child, but when I looked at them the boy dolls were either collector's items (read: $$$$$) or really kind of creepy looking.
I got Blake a necklace which I gave him early (he'll never know the difference). These pictures were cracking me up, because his paunch and white T made me think of a middle aged bald man with his shirt unbuttoned too far to show off some gaudy gold chain. The big boys want a necklace now, too, and I didn't even tell them about it's magic powers.
