I'm shocked at how fast the days are passing now. We have been caught up in the excitement of Obama's victory, (!!!!!) and also busy with a million little things. Mason is working very hard on his thank-you notes. This year he can write them all himself, and it's slow going but he is very determined. The boys have really gotten into a rhythm at school, and every day I receive 10 to 20 pieces of artwork, per child. I'm a little overwhelmed, but I love to see all of the pieces and even more to hear their explanations of them.. Ashton brought home a picture that he described as being a "maze to Florida".
Mason is also working on money concepts. It's really a tough thing to understand when you are 6. He sees money in physical amounts, and so believes that everything he will ever need financially is contained in his four piggy banks. I realized that he thinks he is wealthy and that we are not, because we only have "skinny little wallets, I've seen them".
We are enjoying this weather, and we've put off packing up the trampoline and outside toys just a little longer.
