Going camping, moth babies and good-bye T-ball

Our first moth, and the eggs (can you see them?)

Couch-pillow camp out

Wednesday we discovered that we have moths! The cocoons opened, and we have a new bunch of fat, flying friends. I never would have noticed them, but they are actually very noisy when they are emerging. Today, we saw that a couple of them laid little white eggs all over the sides of their box-home. I don't know why they didn't all lay eggs, but less worms come spring is O.K. with me.

The boys decided to "camp out" in the living room yesterday. They got out the sleeping bag from Grandma Kim and Papa, and cozied up. Then they got Abby in on the fun and cozied her up as well. I think she liked it, and I think she liked laying on Sean's pillow!

Last night was our last T-ball, and Mason suggested that we ride bikes to Cal-Zorn Park instead of driving. It was a great idea, but a very loooong ride. He was a trooper, and I know his little legs were tired by the time we got there. He has to pedal fast and furiously to avoid me hitting him with my bike, and he likes to check out the houses and cars on the way instead of watching the sidewalk ahead of him. Over and over I would almost wipe out trying to avoid slamming into him because he was entranced by some garden gnome or cement rabbit in someones yard.

We had a great time at T-ball once we finally got there, because Mase got to play a "game" at one of the stations. He loved it, and was so eager to just run all of the bases, who cares about whether or not they're occupied! On the way home we stopped at the Family Frosty, and I got Mason a Trash Can Sundae. He was in little-boy heaven.
