Yesterday was Brianna's birthday party, and I think she could compete with any of the girls on My Sweet Sixteen. There was so much to do, the boys really had a great time. They swam, they ate, they played games, they swam some more. And then presents, and then cake. Oh, and prizes. It was after 8:00 before we even realized it, and we had to head home.


Earlier in the day we went to the grand opening of Bank of Lenawee's new building, and there were bouncies, snowcones, kiddie games and goodie bags. I thought the boys would fall right asleep after so much excitement and so many treats, but of course they hung in there forever.


I was secretly hoping that Mason would still be awake when the fireworks from the Pow-Wow started, but he was fast asleep by then. Sean and I watched them out of the bedroom window, and then cursed them an hour later when they were still going strong.
