Yesterday was a busy summer day, but a good-busy, not a frantic busy. The boys had summer camp, then we ate lunch at Island Park and played there for a while. After a much-needed nap, we painted pictures out on the side walk and let them dry while we went to fill up the baby pool in the backyard. I made farmers-market taco salad for dinner (a crowd pleaser!) and then I washed the boys in the baby pool instead of filling up the tub. The water was freezing, and I had to chase them around with buckets full to rinse them off. After putting on jams, we took a short bike ride around the neighborhood.
When Sean got home, he asked if the boys had behaved today. They really didn't have time not to!
