Cute, right? Needless to say, you won't be getting these in an Easter card. I think the robot-raptor and airplanes compliment the spring scenery nicely.
We spent the majority of the day moving Ashton into Mason's room- tonight is the first night that they share a room. It sounds counter intuitive, but I'm hoping that having them together will help them to become closer. I listened at the door after we read books and said goodnight, and the conversation went something like this:
Ash- "Mason, come here, my want you"
Mason- "I have to stay in my bed, but I can talk to you...Do you like Mommy?"
A- "Yeah."
M-"Do you like Daddy?"
A- "Yeah."
M- "Do you like Uncle Rome?"
A- "Yeah."
M- "Do you like Uncle Derk?"
A- "Yeah."
M- Thump
A- "What dat noise?"
After that I stopped listening, satisfied that they are bonding already. As long as they stay in bed, they can chit chat all they want. We got all of the toys and books organized and combined, the next job is the clothes. Ashton's old room looks sad, all empty and abandoned. After Easter brunch Sean and Uncle Rome are going to get to work painting and wallpapering, and hopefully the room will have a fresh personality for the new baby. Speaking of him, he is doing well. He is a tough little guy, putting up with a fall and two powerful kicks to the stomach by his brother without complaint. Amanda visited this morning, and his heartbeat is good and everything looks like it should. This is the smooth sailing part of pregnancy, I'm not too uncomfortable to sleep and I'm so busy with the boys that the whole thing is just flying by.
