Today is (blessedly) Mason's last hurry-flurry day of bible camp and swimming lessons. Ash stayed at home with me again, and this morning we played game after game of connect four before walking aroung the 'big loop' and exploring our neighborhood. We found birdhouses, mushrooms, a bunny, and a robin's egg. We met a couple new friends, the dog pumpkin and a little boy named Myles. We smelled flowers and chased ants, threw pinecones and sang lots of songs. Blake was snoring in his sling as we walked, I might have forgotten that he was with us otherwise. At the last curve of our route Ashton pointed to the sky and sang "I see summer!" Yup, bud, me too.
