But Mason took a little time to warm up. He made two trips up to the big guy's lap before he could bring himself to whisper his Christmas wishes. We made it through our long weekend without Sean, but it was tough and we're very glad he's home again. Suepy helped us get through by visiting with a healing lunch of chicken noodle soup on Saturday. She taught Mason to play checkers while she was here, and we have been playing ever since. Mason wants to practice as much as he can before Christmas so he can beat uncle Derk when he's here. Watch out, Uncle Derk!
Ash still sounds like a frog, and is home with me again today but is feeling much better.
