Oh baby

It has been an ill-tempered, wet and all around yucky day. The house is a mess, the boys have energy to burn, and I am ready for bed! We missed Hanna's last meet, I feel bad she had to run on such an awful day. Instead I took the boys to Amber's ultrasound appointment over at Herrick. Don couldn't make it, so she invited us to come. I wanted the boys to get a chance to see a baby in utero, and I wanted to try and figure out the sex. The boys were very interested in all of the cool buttons and equipment in the room, but had a hard time seeing the baby on the screen. I had no luck with the sex, all I could make out were the basic parts; head, arms, legs, spine. It was a very cool experience, and seeing the tiny heart beat was amazing.
