On the Mend, Abby Jones

One night of sleep and lots of TLC does wonders for a little guy! Ash's fever is all but forgotten today, but we are still staying home from school just to be on the safe side. Ash has a perpetual runny nose and congestion this time o' year, but it is rare for him to get really sick, so yesterday was tough for me. He fever went up and down, up and down, but I never gave in to the scare tactics of the nurse at the Dr's office and pumped him full of drugs, and his body did it's job just splendidly, thank-you-very-much.
Mason seemed to really enjoy having the movies on yesterday, but the novelty wore off pretty quickly. He was so antsy by the afternoon that he gave our furry friend Abby an Alter ego and battled with her against the bad guys. Her name is now Abby Jones. He got this moniker from Indiana Jones, one of my favorite action heroes from my childhood.
